You can also use acrylic paint on them to. But if you do you have to clear coat them with something. I use deco art sealant. I also use clear spray on the too. The ribbon works nicely on them. I've made them with ribbon before.
I'm sure Lexi will be trying to teach art lessons before it's over. She loves drawing and painting. She is a maker. Jackie is doing better everyday. Katie said the chow mein was the largest meal she has eaten since she has been home and Katie didn't have to cook when she got home. And Ryan got home after storm repairing for a week. So everyone was happy. Well lundh is ready so I'm off to eat. Bye Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks for letting me know about the glue. That will help with getting the ribbon to stick. I don't think Elmer's would stick either. The deer are very pretty. I think a ribbon around their necks would give them a real holiday feel. I'll let you know how it works out for me putting the ribbon around the ornaments. I'm sure Lexi is very happy to be going to school. She's a real social one so getting together with her classmates will be the highlight of her day along with learning things. Those gnomes will be very cute when you're done with them and the lambs should be fun too. I actually found some Halloween themed beads that I will make into earrings to sell in October. Found out the dates and the one in October is the 5th and the one in December is the 14th. Hopefully good weather will be happening on those two days. Thanks for sharing with me. I will have fun with everything for sure1 Do hope that Jackie, Katie and the family enjoys your Chow Mein. It will be a nice treat for them. Praying for Jackie to have a good recovery. Happy that she's already having relief from the pain. Going to get in my comfy robe and do some knitting before I go to bed. I have lots of colors to choose from now Hugs, Colleen |
