Yes October has flown by. Eva got her first report card and she had 5 A's and 1 B. She is doing great. So is Lexi.
It has finally decided to rain here a little and it's only 65 today. Except for the rain it's a nice day. Sorry to hear your short on workers in your section. Jackie just went back to work about a week ago. So she is going slowly. Congratulations on your 37th anniversary. Sounds like you had a great time. How did your last Crafts sale go? I printing a gingerbread house right now. I finally got my Christmas train done. The Caulron turned out great. Yes Ryan got back last week end. But now he's go the Georgia to School which will last from 2 to 3 years. But they are paying him while he is going to school to become a lineman. Went to get my eyes checked for new glasses today and tomorrow I get to go for my diabetic eye exam. I printed it on my FlashForge printer. It took three days to print it. There were 371 pieces in all. The I had to hand paint a few things on it. Now I want to see if I can change the colors and make a Easter train. Kyra |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Hi Kyra, I don’t know what happened to October but here we are almost at the end of the month ??. It’s been a very busy month. We just celebrated our 37th anniversary this past weekend. We stayed at the Julian Gold Rush Hotel Friday and Saturday nights. Lovely quaint hotel that was built in 1897 during the gold rush era in Julian, CA. It was so nice to get away and we met some nice people that were staying there f the weekend. There were no TVs so we got some great conversations. One couple we met there the wife makes period clothes from back in history. She’s very good at it too. Her husband has the handle of Gandalf in his Bikers for Christ chapter up in Buena Park, CA. She’s made him costumes from The Lord of the Rings of Gandalf and he is perfect for that. We exchanged numbers so we may get together again in the future. Hope we can. I have been crocheting lots of nylon net scrubbies and making scarves for my next craft fair in November. Have several pairs of earrings and probably a necklace or two to make as well before then. Will be taking my beading case with me when we go over to AZ for Thanksgiving and of course knitting and crocheting. Lost one of my coworkers to a different job in another department so this week has been very busy so far. My manager told the records specialist and myself that they are concentrating on getting the next records specialist hired and then get the next clerk hired next year. Not going to be easy to get caught up so we’re not behind. Has Ryan been back home since the hurricanes? I bet he was so busy with repairs. How is Jackie doing? Hop she’s doing so much better. How are Katie and the girls? I loved the light you made. Lexi knows what she wants ??. Did the cauldrons turn out ok with the glow in the dark filament? My friend in Jonesborough didn’t have any damage but she had friends that were hit hard. Don’t know how things are going there since there’s not much in the news anymore. Just hope that all the areas can recover but I know some never will from the floods sweeping everything away. Hope you’re good and Patricia and Rebecca are as well. Have a good tes of your week and weekend ???? |
