Happy to hear you’re only getting some rain but not too much. We’ve had cool mornings for the past four days but that’s changing starting tomorrow. High temperatures coming in with heat warnings pro through the weekend.
Just figured it was bad lines for your phone due to the storm. Hope it will be getting better soon. All my other friends in TN other than my one friend in Jonesborough are ok. I don’t know about her home. She was in Nashville with her daughter and was going to see about heading back home depending on the conditions. We had chili tonight for dinner. Damon made a big pot of it two weeks ago and we froze some for another meal. Chili baked potatoes sound good too. Well almost time for the ladies Bible study to start. Have a good night and rest of your week ???? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We have been very lucky and the rain has been slow almost misty at times. So it's not been bad at all. I think they are expecting another storm next week. But the cooler temps are nice. We noticed that you called my cell phone this moring. I've had some garbled calls since the storm. Some parts of town near the towers are getting heavier rain and that plays with the signal sometimes. I fixed use a huge pot of chili for lunch and it was so good. That will be our dinner too. I may bake some potatoes and make chili baked pototoes. Kyra |
