Seems they're only scratching the surface.   For example 3.5% of solar is the silicone component -- a small dent in the waste problem -- minor recycling

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Have you seen photos of the huge wind turbine blades winding up in landfills, when retired or splitting apart?? Also solar produces similar landfill problems. Not 100% yet, but progress is being made: Click Here Click Here I definately agree on expansion of geothermal and hydro-electric power, and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
