For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think the real takeaway from both wind and solar power is that they both generate, as one of the articles put it, "mountains of waste." This creates major problems that we will have to deal with in the future. Both of these articles showed that dealing with it create all new time and expenses problems. If either of these energy sources provided more than a trickle of the power the world needs it might be worth it, but they don't. They simply make greenies feel good. Creating mountains of waste to make greenies feel good is not a good trade-off in my opinion. |
