I'm in Oak Park, immediately west of the city, and it's been bitter cold and snowy. My son had his first snow day ever (two in a row in fact) last week--the last time they closed the schools was the year he was born, and the previous one had been some time in the early 80s. Today was the first day above freezing in several weeks, but I don't see that the snow is any lower. We can just hope, I guess. Tina |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Noted..thanks.  Now I recall you are outside Chicago, my sisters are both further outside Chicago in Crystal Lake, my parents in Rockford. How's your winter been? Here in SW Ohio it's been brutal, although not as brutal as Joe has had it on the east coast, I fear!
