Oh, now, it's not true that everyone joined in 2001...but it's probably true that most of the membership that actually stops by does have a VIP flag. They're not discussing crafts in our VIP section. It's gossip, personal stuff and non-craft related chat. Craft-related discussions get moved out into the appropriate sections. We could do without VIP flags, but they're a nice perk. Tina |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It is for "insiders" (long time members) and former staff members, people who know each other, and as you say, these people can then chat semi-privately. Every person posting in Crafts joined in 2001. The entire forum posting membership consists of "insiders." If any members are discussing crafts, it should not be in a closed section. |
