![]() ![]() Section 4: President & Congress Subject: SAVE Act Msg# 1223570

I took a good 5 minutes of the time I have left on this earth to read and reread the Democrat essay you referred to. It does virtually nothing to say why this proposed law would disenfranchise voters. No arguments on assumed difficulties is obtaining birth certificates, passports or other proofs of citizenship. It merely talks about the bill's danger of rolling back generally approved measures taken to ensure the rights of minorities. Does it? Prove it.
It's a muddy argument that seeks to come to a preconceived concrete conclusion. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Wi also voted in favor of voter ID. I am not opposed to that as long as it is fair and easy to obtain. The SAVE Act will unfairly disenfranchise some women, minorities, disabled, and elderly citizens. It does not make obtaining proof of citizenship or registration easy. |
