Since the voter ID is aimed at preventing illegals from voting, its intended to be impossibly difficult to obtain, by them.
Aimed at new registrations, thus the overwhelming majority of women, minorities, disabled, and elderly citizens are already registered on the voter rolls. No big deal, no widespread effects. An overrated excuse. This latest Dem excuse has practically no effects. Already requiring ID's for medical treatments, air travel, cashing checks, obtaining credit cards. and those citizens are already resolving such ID problems. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Wi also voted in favor of voter ID. I am not opposed to that as long as it is fair and easy to obtain. The SAVE Act will unfairly disenfranchise some women, minorities, disabled, and elderly citizens. It does not make obtaining proof of citizenship or registration easy. |
