Jim, since the law allows only citizens to vote in Federal elections, what is unfair about requiring proof of citizenship?

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Wi also voted in favor of voter ID. I am not opposed to that as long as it is fair and easy to obtain. The SAVE Act will unfairly disenfranchise some women, minorities, disabled, and elderly citizens. It does not make obtaining proof of citizenship or registration easy. Click Here
