I think I've made my position clear: Non-citizens should not be able to vote, period,
Citizens who are living paycheck-to-paycheck (or worse) are not likely to spend the money to obtain proper identification. If voter ID is going to be required (and I think it should be) then the government should provide a free path for anyone who is struggling to to obtain the proper ID. And, any purging of the voter rolls should be done carefully and with documented proof. We ha 60 or so court cases about the 2020 election and no voter fraud was proven. In at least one instance, when asked for evidence, Rudy told the judge, I haven't any. Very embarrassing. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: That's not true. It does not seek to disenfranchise any citizen. Something as simple as a REAL ID-compliant driver's license will suffice. I don't recall anyone complaining about those.
Does it seek to prevent non-citizens from voting? Yes, and that's a good thing. Get over it, Democrats. |
