The US has aided Asian manufacturing.
Using Japan post WWII as an example today makes no sense. South Korea? The U.S.-South Korea trade agreement will create new opportunities for significantly more exports, supporting additional jobs for American workers in sectors ranging from delivery services to education and health care services, too. America is increasingly on a service economy, not manufacturing. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The US has aided Asian manufacturing. Examples include aid to Japan after WW-II and more recently aiding South Korea. And We've largely avoided trade pressures on Tai Wan, treating them as an ally & counter balance to China. |
