Coal as an energy source is wildly inefficient. It is cheap because it is garbage. Garbage sells at lower prices than quality. Thank you for explaining supply and demand, though. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Cost of fuels is predominantly based on supply & demand. And coal supply for more than a century has economically powered locomotives, steamboats and ships, (as well as power plants.) Increasing supply is the whole driver behind the mantra--"drill baby drill" |
