Sure. But if the pattern worldwide is warming, and tides are rising due to melting ice, many low lying coastal properties will be worthless. Not overnight. But over time.

Coastal real estate coukd become a matter of musical chairs, with sone people owning worthless property In the long term.

Or maybe we return to an ice age. 

At one time so much water was in ice that the Susquehanna River flowed to the continental  shelf some 60 miles out from today’s shoreline. Now that river bed is called Chesapeake Bay.

Right and left want to make the issue political. I am not sure either right or left have a clue what they are talking about.
