I will say that I do agree that this probably shouldn't be the political issue it is. I believe or time, the climate does change--it gets warmer and colder, and we've seen that over time.
I just grow tired of junior harpies like Miss Thunberg preaching to the world about the earth ending next week because we humans screwed up this or that and the earth is going to die due to it. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Has anyone ever heard of weather patterns changing? Sure. But if the pattern worldwide is warming, and tides are rising due to melting ice, many low lying coastal properties will be worthless. Not overnight. But over time. Coastal real estate coukd become a matter of musical chairs, with sone people owning worthless property In the long term. Or maybe we return to an ice age. At one time so much water was in ice that the Susquehanna River flowed to the continental shelf some 60 miles out from today’s shoreline. Now that river bed is called Chesapeake Bay. Right and left want to make the issue political. I am not sure either right or left have a clue what they are talking about. |
