I know all that--I don't mess with images used in actual articles unless I go to the article and edit the article for whatever reason.
I do use the article image area to store images used on the home pages though, and when I no longer need them I delete them. Or, I just replace the image so I don't have to go in and change the image in the editable area box. And If I accidentally upload the wrong image I delete it or edit and upload a new one. I haven't been able to do any of this for a couple weeks. From the thumbnails I cannot open an image to full size, which means none of the editing options are open to me. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I logged in as you and can do everything related to article imges. By the way, deleting an article image if it has been previously used is something to be careful about. If deleted, the image will no longer appear in the online article. Replacement works ok. If deleting and then uploading a replacement it requires then going to the article and editing it for the new images. Deleting images of any kind is never a good idea unless there is a very compelling reason to do so. That image could be in many messages, news, articles, etc. |
