I suspect you deleted all cookies prior to beginning to post a message. Then you left the message composition window open for more than 20 minutes and when the sysyem deleted your in-memory cookie (different than a regular cookie) it could not find the real on-disk cookie to automatically log you in.
Not odd at all. In fact, the code did exactly what it is programmed to do. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Did you take a long time composing the message or did you leave the computer sit for some period of time? Yes, the computer sat for a long break, and I might even have left the message half-composed. Normally I'm signed in all the time on both domains but I understand that the cookies may have been erased. I recall having an issue with another web site over a shopping cart problem at some point yesterday and one of the fixes I tried was clearing the cache, deleting cookies, etc. I think that was after this stuff happened but maybe not. I'll pay attention to the details and let yo know if it occurs again. It's not troublesome, just odd. |
