I started to post that message about messages being reset here, then specifically posted it in Firearms because it seemed specific to Firearms, and I wondered if anyone else there had experienced it.  So I did it on purpose, FWIW.   (And saw Harvey G. reported experiencing it also.) Anyway, it happened again a bit ago.
