Hi, Joe--
I found a longer discussion of this in the Support forum that I can't find now, so: We note that when we log in at Crafts we are seeing every single message in the forum as "new." It's the same problem other people are having. I marked all as read, then I cleared my cache (or I thought I did), and when I went back to the Discussion Home it showed zero new. I closed the browser and came back in, and when I came back I still had 950 or so new messages. This seems to happen whenever I come in to the forum, whether I post anything or not. This is the same problem I perceive is happening in other forums and I just wanted to say that we have it in Crafts too. I am using Windows Vista 64 and IE9. Thank you, Tina Norton |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thanks. So... only happens after you Reply.... that's a big help. You might ask others in Firearms if that is the case for them as well. What I think is happening is that for some reason a fresh login is happening and that's why any new messages you have read disappear on the bad return after a post. Either the count of new messages gets corrupted or something. I'll look into this. |
