I'm still seeing an occasional anomoly with how the high message counter is working and also hear from a user once in a while.

I like the notion of not having to worry about missing new messages if I only read say 10 or 20 new messages, but this new setup, in effect for some months now, amy be causing problems for users.

I'm giving some consideration to going back to the old system we had in place for years.
