The problems I was having seem to have gone away finally. I really like this new counter. Especially since I'm on and off constantly, it is so useful for me. And there are a few others, especially long-time members on FF, who tend to be on and off the same way, who probably appreciate it for the same reason. Any chance of giving it a little more time? |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I'm still seeing an occasional anomoly with how the high message counter is working and also hear from a user once in a while. I like the notion of not having to worry about missing new messages if I only read say 10 or 20 new messages, but this new setup, in effect for some months now, amy be causing problems for users. I'm giving some consideration to going back to the old system we had in place for years. |
