Not sure what you mean. There was never a way to "type in" a message number. The old code had a dropdown, but the dropdown only appeared if there were only a few messages. If there were many messages to read then the only option was prev or next. The new code provides an option even with many messages, and that's more than the old code offered.

You have given me an idea, however. I'll look at possibly eliminating the boxes with page numbers and replace those with a single box where the user can input a page number and click to jump to that page.
