Not sure what you mean. There was never a way to "type in" a message number. The old code had a dropdown, but the dropdown only appeared if there were only a few messages. If there were many messages to read then the only option was prev or next. The new code provides an option even with many messages, and that's more than the old code offered. You have given me an idea, however. I'll look at possibly eliminating the boxes with page numbers and replace those with a single box where the user can input a page number and click to jump to that page. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Would you consider going back to the 1-2-3-4 type message numbering at the top of the message board where you could type in the number of the message you wanted to read? That instead of the new system where you have to click on the numbers showing, which when the board is full are are separated by "..." requiring one to click a bunch of times until they get to where they can actually see the actual message number they want at the top of the page? |
