Well, if the images are ok then why worry about it? Why would you delete good images from the gallery? Users could care less about who uploaded an image. I would try to draw the uploader into posting. If he is storing on firearms site and then displaying on other sites, this is actually something I can control. The code may not be on the new code yet but I can actually write something over the image if it is displayed on another domain or even just show a dummy image saying where the real image is located. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: What are your thoughts on a new FF user who has uploaded better part of a hundred photos but has not posted a single message? We had a guy years ago on FF who also posted lots of photos and never posted messages. I posted a couple friendly message messages inviting him to post on the message board but he never did. After a few years I deleted his images. Can members post their forum images on other sites? Can they be hot-linked? I've never tried, but I'm wondering if this new user is thinking we are a storage site. |
