what the heck is Netscape Beats me. It isn't even a viable browser any more. And I have no idea why the Netscape logo appears at the top of CompuServe forums, with a CompuServe copyright notice and ToS at the bottom. Everone on staff over there refers to it as CompuServe, and so does our Forum User's Manual. I'll talk to Alex, and keep checking in daily, but I don't anticipate any changes in the near future. I feel more like a caretaker than a manager. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: There is something to be said for simplicity. We can probably work out a good set of admin powers for each of the current flags. As for Books, I don't expect much to go on there unless some users are directed to the location or someone starts seeding messages. Talk to Alex and see if he wants to get something going, perhaps more along discussion to reading books as opposed to writing. You could use the synergy between the two forums to get Books here busy, and perhaps in a way that would not take away from the the old cis forum on Netscape (what the heck is Netscape PS - I can change the code so the VIP section name can be changed. |
