And I have no idea why the Netscape logo appears at the top of CompuServe forums, with a CompuServe copyright notice and ToS at the bottom. My guess? AOL has essentially written off the entire cis forum thing as not an economically viable product and will not spend any money on promotion, redesign, or anything else. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: what the heck is Netscape Beats me. It isn't even a viable browser any more. And I have no idea why the Netscape logo appears at the top of CompuServe forums, with a CompuServe copyright notice and ToS at the bottom. Everone on staff over there refers to it as CompuServe, and so does our Forum User's Manual. I'll talk to Alex, and keep checking in daily, but I don't anticipate any changes in the near future. I feel more like a caretaker than a manager. |
