One other comment--on my forum or any leased forum, I really thought forum operator had the last say on how things were run in his/her own forum. You have the ability to delete any image, so I'm at a loss as to what you are complaining about. As for "leased" forums, there are only two and new ones cannot be created. The idea proved not very worthwhile. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: ...with the new code Google is indexing all posted messages and a web search could return a link to any message. That is a consideration but there are sooooo many messages with images in them that were copy/pasted from other sites (probably a majority of the ones in Firearms). I truly believe the web is used to finding forum messages containing image placeholders with dead links. I'm not saying that makes it okay for us, I'm just saying it isn't the end of the world. One other comment--on my forum or any leased forum, I really thought forum operator had the last say on how things were run in his/her own forum. If my back messages contained hundreds of missing images, that doesn't reflect on you. |
