I have a few images in "article images" I'd delete if I could that I uploaded before I figured out how to just replaced the same image I'm using for the home page. 

I thought about replacing them with images for the vault I was going to upload anyway but found out there isn't a way to convert images from article to vault anymore--no central image list. 

Would it be possible to just add the three areas (gallery, vault, article) to the manager's category option when editing images?  I know you want to keep some separation but this would be minor and would take care of a lot of housekeeping problems.
