Now working--thank-you. Joe, I understand that you have an aversion to deleting images because you don't want people going back to old messages and finding missing images, but if the manager is diligent and avoids that, I don't know why deleting images in general is such a bug-a-boo. Some of these messages are several years old and I doubt if they are ever accessed. (And FWIW not deleting messages themselves has presented problems as well.) In order to clean up some of these small management-only images on my forum I first go to the article images page via a shortcut as you suggested and change the image. But from that shortcut I can't delete images--I'm not sure why but I have to be in the image gallery proper to find the delete key. Maybe I need to make a new shortcut. But now I need two tabs open. Hey, I'm not asking you to change anything--it's your software, and you know I love it overall, but I honestly miss the old admin page where I could do any and everything I ever wanted to do from one central location... ...maybe I just need to be more patient and let you finish the job, as I do realize the current admin page is not complete.... |
