Section 7: Image Gallery Subject: Can't upload images Msg# 758397

I tried to use the new admin area in MEF to upload a couple Christmas images in an editable area but the upload would not take. I'm not sure what the above means. Give me a step by step so I can try and reproduce. In the new admin area go to an editable area. Click on the film canister then add graphic. Follow the instructions to do so. When you click submit you return to the images pop-up but no new image has been uploaded. Alternately you can click the film canister, click article images--which is what I wanted--an article image, not a vault image (what we used to call feature images), then click add image and follow the instructions. This time when you click submit you get the following return in the pop-up: Page does not exist on this server. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Regarding Article images. When you are viewing the vault images you will see a link to Article Images at the top. Click on it and it will show all article images. Note the "upload Image" link at the top right. Click on it and you will see you can upload an image with a category of "Article." I'm trying to keep the upload category specific to the images being displayed in the small popup image window, rather than allowing the uplaod of a vault image while viewing the gallery or features images. If you are viewing gallery images and could upload to the vault, you would be returned to the gallery after the uplaod and then have to go load the vault images page to use the new image. So.... if you are viewing vault images the upload link only allows uploading vault to vault. If you are viewing feature images, the upload link only allows uploading feature images. If you are viewing gallery images the upload link only allows uploading to the gallery. While some of this is different than in the past, I think it makes sense.
