Trump posted on Truth Social site: "Congratulations to the House on the passage of a Bill that sets the stage for one of the Greatest and Most Important Signings in the History of our Country."

"Among many other things, it will be the Largest Tax and Regulation Cuts ever even contemplated." 

Priorities in the budget resolution include: 

• $1.5 trillion in budget cuts over 10 years
• extending the 2017 tax cuts.
• No tax on tips
• raise the nation’s debt limit
• add billions of dollars to defense and border security programs

Rep. Andy Harris, chairman of the House Freedom Caucus described how the reconciliation process would: "result in keeping taxes low for American families, fully funding our border security, and enacting historic spending reductions in return for raising the limit on our nation’s credit card.”   And reconciliation avoids the Senate filibuster process.  

Seems this important step drew less attention than it deserved, because of all the news coverage of tariff issues.
