| I do agree that everything should be age-appropriate. I would probably set those limits for children, adolescents, and adults. There is certainly material that is appropriate for the 13-18 age group that is not appropriate for younger children. Reasonable community standards should apply and parents should take responsibility for what their children are allowed to read. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I would tend to agree with you, with the caveat that all adult-oriented material  should clearly be kept out of reach of children (under 18 at this point in this country), and--if the local community deems it undesirable--out of the library all together. Thoughts?
