We have been supplying them money and weapons so that we don't have to send American Troops to stop Putin. We're spending money, Ukrainians are spending blood! Trump needs to wake up to the fact that Putin is a criminal and, when it's to his benefit, he'll stab Trump in the back as well.
Both countries have spent blood, and no one wants that blood to be American blood. As to the money--Ukraine can't tell us where half of it has gone. I don't know why anyone concludes that just because Trump will talk peace with Putin means he is on Putin's side--he is not. He does not want to send troops to Ukraine because we've put too many American boots on the ground in the last quarter century and lost too many American lives to want to do it again. Trump wants the war over and if he can do it without firing a shot he will. But he brooks no belligerency--from anyone--note his handling of Zelensky yesterday. If Putin raises a fist, Trump will smack it down--and I think Putin knows this. America is back. |
