For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: In recent weeks media has been surprised to learn that Trump's popularity has soared, beyond just the votes he received in the 2024 election, narrowly short of 50%. But Trump was clearly ahead of Harris, by two million votes, a decisive margin. In a bunch of red states he clearly won greater than 50% of votes.. Trump carried all of the swing states. Plus he made startling gains among demographic voting segments, like blacks, NY & Calif. voters, etc. Meanwhile, after the election, People have jumped onto his popularity list, including a number of foreign leaders across the globe. And people are also putting him way ahead on the "issues" being polled. Quite a popularity phenomenon. Adding all that in, Trump is far ahead of his election results, where he also captured majorities in both the House & the Senate. These days the Dems are facing difficulties. Looking for any life raft, but their hollering in the streets isn't persuading the public. Claims like Trump did not receive majority in any election are also not persuasive. |
