Here's another way that govt waste is being committed.   A recent review, prior to the DOGE activities, has reported hundreds of payments made despite their authorizations being expired. 

Such lack of authorizations has cost taxpayers $516 Billion (with a B). How disgusting can they get-- paying out those billions lacking authorizations.

And to raise further concerns:  "“Nearly two-thirds ($320 billion) of that $516 billion was provided for activities whose authorizations expired more than a decade ago,” the report said.

Many of the authorizations "expired at least 10 years ago, and the oldest expired in 1980."
