I agree whole heartedly. I would love to see both parties work together and make America strong again on all fronts. But being me I have my doubts. I'm not sure this country can ever be an updated version of what we had. I don't believe people want to work together anymore, they want what they want and will do whatever it takes to get it. I'd love to see Trump work with all and I believe he will try. But as we all know it takes two to tango. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I live on top of the Left Coast surrounded by refugees from California. I got up early so I could walk around outside and watch their heads explode. Strangely enough, it just looked like any other morning. Nothing unusual happening. I really hope it stays that way, we have a lot to repair in this country and it will go faster with better and more permanent results if we can all work together to get it done. In order for that to happen, the Dems are going to have to come back from the radical and hopeless whack-job edge to heal their party. Republicans really don't have any snickering room, their party suffered through a high-dive with the Tea Party era that damaged it for years but has managed to move back toward the middle. Both parties need to put their lunatic fringe back in their cages, or at least ignore them. What we need right now is a president who is too wealthy to be bought, who cares deeply about this country, and who is not a bane-of-the-world career politician straight from the swamp's uniparty. I think we have that person now and I hope we can support him while making sure he stays on track... |
