If anybody I know even thinks of an EV I'll have them committed to the state nervous hospital!

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Not specifically relevant to the Silverado EV, but relevant to makers still pushing out EV versions of existing products: I consistently get hyped up email ads from Ford pushing their EV version of my gas-powered Ford Explorer.  Probably once a month or so.  The manufacturers are not giving up.
