When Dems are losing ground they love to distort issues, rely on media, and twist the facts.
Negatives in military service of Walz are the latest example. YES Dems are losing ground on that issue. So lashing out occurs. Even here in our discussions. Walz decided to embellish his story, and even use it as a segue to introducing gun control. And Walz embelishments were really lies. Shows a weakness of his character. Same with the China debate here. When a Dem issue is losing ground there's been lashing out instead of debating the issues. There's been no acknowledgment by Walz about the globally aggressive policies of China. Freedoms have been curtailed in Hong Kong, and Taiwan is their next target. NO Gov Walz, China is not a lovely nation -- as you should have recognized after Tiennanmen Square. Dominance of communism is their driving motive, not freedom. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here's another article on Walz's military service. CNN tried to badmouth JD Vance's service in Iraq to take some heat off Walz's service. However, the article quotes several soldiers who served with Walz--telling us Walz was never in a combat zone, never carried a gun in combat, and when his unit was finally mobilized to go into combat, Walz resigned from Army National Guard so he wouldn't have to go with his unit. 
The Harris/Walz campaign says that, well, he trained with guns and shot them. Yeah, on the training range. Just like all of us who served during peacetime. I put a lot of holes in targets because there were no wars just at the time I served. But Walz decided to embellish his story, and even use it as a segue to introducing gun control. I dislike this sort of politician. |
