The first listed article had some really good info. I just have to quote this part below as I feel it will be representative of the kind of utter garbage the left wing media will be trying to push for the next few months.
Axios wrote: "Harris, appointed by Biden as border czar, said she would be looking at the 'root causes' that drive migration," the outlet wrote in 2021. The Wednesday article and 2021 article were written by different reporters. Conservative pundits noticed the contrast between this week’s article and the outlet’s prior coverage of the “border czar” position. Axios’ 2024 article now features an "Editor’s Note" reading tagged to the story that says “This article has been updated and clarified to note that Axios was among the news outlets that incorrectly labeled Harris a 'border czar' back in 2021.” "Editor's note?!" We can be sure of this much: If the border was not a mess, if this was not a winning GOP issue, Kamala Harris would be running on it right now. And her media sock-puppet friends—who seem to believe in nothing except making sure she wins—would be celebrating “The Greatest Border Czar Who Ever Was.” Thanks for finding these excellent pieces of actual journalism, Tom. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I got a hearty laugh from Thursday's news. Just about the entire population of news watchers could find some amusement out of the Dem attempts to claim that Kamala was NOT the border Czar. Trying to walk it back when practically everyone knows that she had that nickname, as she was appointed early in Biden's presidency to try and control the illegal migration. Commentators were constantly discussing her border efforts which turned out to be total failures. Lester Holt challenged her absence from even visiting the border. Remember how she claimed to be solving the "root causes" of the migration. But instead there were mounting volumes of migrants coming in. There were larger and larger caravans, There were more on the lists of terrorists and known criminals. There were more "got-aways". Even more illegal entry of the poisonous Fentanyl. More than 10 million illegal migrants amounts to dismal record, and a big failure by Kamala. Now the blue sanctuary cities like New York are howling their objections, and suffering from the funding demands of supporting those millions of illegals. Its created chaos, with so many examples. And there's so many sources buying into the distortion of history. Sorry media, but that BS belongs in the cow pasture. The left wing media thinks the public is beyond ignorant, that bit there just proved it beyond any question. The other article was even more informative, listing articles from SEVERAL "media" sources who are walking (running?) this "Border Czar" reality back as fast as posssible. (I'm sure most of these left wing media pundits are wearing track shoes). At the end of the second article the writer makes this excellent point:
