But if you want to believe that states run by Democrats are havens of wealth and prosperity and peace and happiness
That's not what I said, at all. I inferred from you comment that you thought my links to the census bureau were invalid because that and other agencies are corrupt. All I asked was that if you thought my picture was an incorrect depiction of red states, that you give me something concrete that supported your opinion. I am quite willing to discuss that. But when you spout that my position is nonsense, I give you links to relevant US census data supporting that position, and you cast doubts upon the legitimacy of government agencies, it tells me that you have nothing to support your opinion, and that you simply want to deflect the conversation until it goes away. Deflection is often used on this "forum" to steer the "conversation" away from an unpleasant subject that the "participants" do not want to address or deal with. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: You kinda sort misspoke about what I said. I didn't say all government agencies were corrupt. I think I said corruption extends into government agencies, who often have an agenda. But if you want to believe that states run by Democrats are havens of wealth and prosperity and peace and happiness, go ahead and believe that. I don't really want to have that discussion. |
