For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The president is not there to shrug his shoulders and do nothing when he is badly needed. The laws the define emergencies and disasters were not created to prevent leaders from acting they should be there to assist. Whatever the laws may or may not be leaders should damn well help their people when need arises. I would be willing to bet my right arm that if this happened in the 1990’s Bill Clinton would have been zooming himself out to Ohio so fast it woild have made your head spin. As bad as Clinton was with running from the truth in the Monica scandel the man has a strong sense of responsibility for his people. Some of Todays DC look like third world dictators and cannot hold a candle to someone of Clinton’s caliper.
