Great idea.  Even if the solar panel sizing produces only a trickle of energy.   And yes -- those propellers/turbines to capture some wind energy at highway speeds.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I have a GREAT idea that I'm sure I can get the "greenies" and the "AOC crew" to support.  Put solar panels and a small wind turbine on the roof of all electric cars.  That way they can generate their own power going down the road even if it's cloudy or dark......am I a genius or what?                                           You're welcome
