The wild thing about those electric vehicle fires is the extreme flammability of their lithium batteries and the tendency to overheat and burst into hot flames.
Fire fighters know how it takes immense quantities of water about 10 times as much as normal. Also their tendency to spontaneously re-ignite, hours or even days later. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Recall there were reports of Electric busses catching fire, fueled by their lithium batteries. The list is growing, now with a Connecticut town called Hamden. Click Here I'd feel sorry for folks in that state. Their governor, Ned Lamont has announced a new State Law that requires Connecticut to transfer all State vehicles to electrical power.
