If anyone reads your points labeled 1. and 2. they can see how the proponents of wind & solar are totally reliant on the fossil fuels.
Point 1. is in effect saying -- buy your power from neighbors who have reliable fossil fueled power, when problems occur, by connecting to their more reliable fossil backed grids. Point 2. is alleging for 80 or 100 yrs the utilities properly maintained their fossil equipment, but some how forgot, after wind became an unreliable portion of the equipment. WRONG The former fossil plants capacities had been curtailed and shut down. Also the fossil capacity to keep up with the electric load growth was not being added, but instead they're building wind & solar. Poor choices, bringing non-reliability. Since you don't want any quotes from sources, I'll not put in any of the advanced warnings that these exact kinds of power shortages had been predicted. And they've also been predicted for the California situation. Its all been induced by the huge $$$ subsidies for wind, and a bit smaller bucks subsidies for solar installations which led to unwise practices. Too much reliance on the unpredictable energy sources, accompanied by close downs of the fossil fuel plants. Those fossil plants formerly providing back ups have been shut down. Some green advocates are now saying the public needs to learn to deal with less power supply, and recurring outages and blackouts. Talk about far out stuff. Propaganda, Big Time. Imagine impacts on essential services like hospitals, airports, elevators in tall buildings, water & sewage. No thanks green advocates. Not in modern civilizations. No tolerance for power outages |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here are the main reasons that Texas had such a huge crisis during the cold weather in 2021:
If not for those two items, Texas would have been able to weather that winter storm. You cannot spin this in any way to blame on failure of anternative energy. If Texas had acted responsably to begin with, the crisis would not have happened. It makes NO difference what happened in previous or subsequent years. The responsibility for the failure lies with the irresponsible politicians who chose to do #1 and #2 above. So, don't bother sending links to your propaganda machine. [And, if you didn't catch my drift, calling people "greenies" and other names, is very childish and diminishes any possible trust or belief in the support of your arguments. Just the facts, if you don't mind.] |
