Section 25: Miscellaneous Subject: Chappaquiddick Death car Msg# 1136505

Plenty has been written, besides the National Inquirer. Critical questions about the lack of an autopsy, rushing the body off to another state, to Pennsylvania. There were so many holes in Ted's story that this was an accident. How many hours delay in reporting a major accident?? Nine hours !! And of the many legal "shortcuts" -- more scant than the normal legalities -- that were pulled off in this case. All raising inferences and/or circumstantial evidence coinciding with the pregnancy idea. Fits as a perfect motive.
Even production of a movie called "Chappaquiddick." More questions than answers in that film. Then there were reports of the close affiliations of Mary Jo with Ted's brother, Robert Kennedy, also reportedly a notorious womanizer. She was devastated by RFK's assassination, then went over to Ted. I could call it "reportedly" pregnant if that helps you. Otherwise, guess we'll just need to differ, on the idea of omitting vs including the idea of whether Mary Jo was pregnant, or not. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Other than a story about Ted impregnating Mary Jo in the National Inquirer, there doesn't seem to be much written on the subject. You sent me googling because I've never put much stock in the story. Howie Carr wrote about Teddy several years ago and didn't mention it. The whole incident was disgraceful from beginning to end and should have resulted in jail time for anyone less protected than a Kennedy. PLENTy of things to indict Teddy for but this is a weak link. Always wise to avoid a weak link. Endangers the whole chain |
