Section 8: FeatureArticles Subject: Article HP Appearance Bug Msg# 1068127

I just added a new article in FF. I cannot get "rotate" to change from FALSE to TRUE, so I cannot display the new article on the Home Page. It will seem to take the change but when I go to the articles home page there is no red "+" I can click to display the article on the HP. When I go back to the article edit page "rotate" is back to "false."
This is apparently a bug, as some time ago I was going through to edit older articles, wanting to change "rotate" options so some older and rather stale articles would no longer rotate. It seemed it didn't appear to matter if the rotate button were clicked or not--they were auto-appearing on the home page regularly. More important to me is the ability to manually make an article appear, especially for a few days when new! I've cleared all caches. ETA: When I returned to FF my article was on the HP. All I remember doing was to click on the thumbnail icon. Does this now put the article on the HP? How can I put a larger version on the HP, the top image version? ETA Again: Now my article has the red "+" showing and all is working normally. I'm confused. On the edit screen, "rotate" still shows "false." |
