I've seen three photos like that today.  Two were photos that TJ Parmele posted sideways from his cell phone (I have explained in detail how to turn them around before he posts them but he continues to post them sideways, or sometimes upside down ).  I download them, turn them right side up, and for some reason the vertical size appears off--to me, although they look right in the photo gallery.  (Message here)

The third was a photo I copied the properties from in another message and reposted it in a new message.  It's an image in our galleries.  In the new message, it was improperly constrained, and the vertical was excessive.  (Message here)
