Bug. I'll fix so setting vip sticks.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tried to add Darryl Rogers and Allan Tarvid to VIP.  As staff, I thought they automatically could access it but apparently not.  Darryl tells me he can read messages but not post. (?)  I tried to change their flags to add VIP but each time I do so it reverts from true to false.  Do I not have that ability anymore?  Help?
