Section 7: Image Gallery Subject: Change to Add Image? Msg# 851635

On the cartoons, nothing wrong with them, they just don't sem like something worthsaving for the long haul. More like something we look at, laugh at, and toss out with yesterday's newspaper. But maybe that's just my perception of the Image Gallery.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: but the title, the description, and the name of the uploader in my message. Is that intentional? I don't want all that. Take a few seconds and delete the text you don't want. I can copy the properties and put just the image in a message using the insert/edit image button, which I am now used to, but most users say it is a pain to post images that way And the users are correct. That is primarily useful for inserting images from other sites, not internal images. Do not encourage users to use this for internal images. It is too cumbersome and confusing for the users. I have added three text links for inserting images just to top right of message input box. All a user needs to do is click on insert image link and the gallery comes up in a small window. Clink insert into message and done. I'm not sure what could be quicker or easier. What's wrong with political cartoons related to guns? |
