The new images code should now be operating for forum managers.
Look for two links now related to managing albums on the main images thumbnails page. One is to manage site albums and the other is to manage special albums. Users can upload to normal site albums, as in the past. Managers can now also create special albums. Only managers can upload to special albums, or add existing images to special albums via image edit. I suggest managers play with this new stuff over in Demo Forum before experimenting on your main site. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: A new image gallery feature is coming. It is Special Albums. Seems to be working but at this pint I'm the only one who can test. The code will allow creation and assignment of an image album as "special." Only managers can control what is in those special albums. It is the palce to show off some of the better photos in your forum. Anyway to see the results go to Outdoors Network (http://www.outdoors.net) and check the image gallery where you will find a dropdown for Special Images. There is one album there for smallmouth bass with 10 images. |
